Gentle, low-force Tooth Extractions
If a tooth has been broken or damaged by decay, Dr. Flowers will usually repair it with a filling, crown or other dental treatment. Sometimes, though, there is simply too much damage for the tooth to be repaired. In such a case, the tooth needs to be extracted. Dr. Flowers will do whatever it takes to put you at ease and make sure you remain relaxed and comfortable throughout the procedure.
Wisdom Tooth Extractions
An impacted wisdom tooth can lead to pain and also cause structural damage to the jaw and other teeth. It can also provide a place for bacteria to grow since it is hard to reach and clean.
Dr. Charles Flowers has been extracting wisdom teeth for over 30 years. He uses advances in dentistry combined with state-of-the-art technology to enable patients to have their wisdom teeth removed in a way that promotes minimal post-operative discomfort and fast healing.
Socket preservation for implants
To sustain the maximum amount of bone after tooth extraction in preparation for future implant placement, Dr. Flowers uses the socket preservation technique, where the empty space left by an extracted tooth is filled with bone grafting material to help minimize post-extraction bone loss.
Special Needs Patients
For patients with special needs, Dr. Flowers offers in- or out-patient hospital dental services, including wisdom teeth extraction.
